My First OFFICIAL Photoshoot: Here's How It Happened

I've always loved being involved behind the scenes, because I get to take part in bringing the vision to life. But this time, I wanted to have a more creative experience by being in front of the camera. For so long, I had been thinking about doing a photoshoot, but I wasn't sure what to wear or the concept I would use. In my pinterest board, I have many inspiring photoshoots, but none of them have really caught my eye. Recently, I began watching Jaidaibunni's content, and I was immediately attracted to her fashion sense. Her style has become one of my fashion inspirations, as I have been wanting to try new looks. She’s always posting her outfits, and I thought this particular one was perfect for me to recreate.

As a way to make the process fun, but also challenging, I wanted to thrift the entire outfit and set a budget for myself. As part of my budget, I aimed not to spend over $60. For any thrifting trip I go on, I create a mood board for myself so I have a sense of direction because I HATE feeling lost. My search for the pieces was different this time around because I already knew what I needed. The items on my thrift list were a long sleeve red jersey, baggy denim jeans, timberland boots, and a brown fur hat.  In my first attempt to find a Timberland boot, I didn't find any, then I found darker brown boots, but they weren't my size. I found only baseball caps in the hat section, so I knew I would need to look elsewhere. The only things I found were a St. Louis Cardinals windbreaker for $16.99 and Ralph Lauren jeans for $8.49. Unfortunately, I was really stressed because I wasn't able to find the rest of the items. In the end, I spent a total of $60.27 on things that were unrelated to the photoshoot. For $7, I found a fur hat at SHEIN and then found some gold jewelry and grills for the shoot. As for shoes, I wore brown Uggs.

Even though I enjoyed myself during the photoshoot, I was also a little nervous! However, I didn't want to take myself too seriously, so I decided to have some fun and show off my modeling skills. As for me, this was a wonderful experience and I am looking forward to doing it again, but until then, it is back to behind the scenes for me.
